This engine cover begins with a extra heavy 18. 0oz yard of 6K carbon fiber straight from our Aerospace Materials room. The Carbon is laid into a high temperature gel coated tool. A special high temperature resin system is mixed and added, and stiffeners are inserted in key locations. Separately, light weight standoffs are molded to accept the OEM rubber grommets. The fully cured and finished cover is then bonded to standoff';s using the same adhesive used in bonding aircraft cargo doors
Available for 05-08 Dodge Magnum 5. 7L models. This part comes unpainted, and is manufactured with hand laid carbon fiber; already comes w/ a "wet" look UV protected clear coat that provides that "shiny" look
Installation Notes:
This Engine Cover is a replacement cover and simply bolts over the factory engine cover, using factory hardware
