It provides cold ram air to the factory airbox location and it extracts the hot air from the engine compartment, which keeps the engine cooler (increases horsepower). TruFiber hoods are super lightweight and made with high quality, hand laid fiberglass. Each hood is manufactured with an OEM skeleton underneath to ensure durability and stability. Available for all models, including GT, V6, SVO, Cobra, Rouch, Convertible & Saleen models. TruFiber Hoods are fully functional. Vent is pre-cut and mesh grille is pre-installed. Hood comes unpainted and unprepped with smooth gel coat finish, providing uniform surface & texture. Fitment is excellent. With the use of a proper air intake system, the hood can be made functional. Installation Notes: The hoods install using factory hinges for installation. All hoods also come with a latch.
