They are also totally impervious to rust and are coated in a textured black finish to protect against scratching and scuffs. Some of the features that make the ARIES 4" side bar a bold accessory are its 90-degree, rounded ends and thick step pads. The ends offer a unique look compared to capped ends and give the side bars a more finished appearance. The custom step pads provide a generous width for a more comfortable foothold, and the textured pads are made from polypropylene so that they will not crack or get slippery when wet. To finish things off, we also embed a brushed stainless steel insignia into each step pad, bearing the ARIES name.
