The Sniper hood was created to be a full functional hood and not built for looks!
Back in 2006 we looked at hood designs and what the community needed and it needed extra cooling. Taken from the original Dodge Viper keeping with Mopar’s heritage we figured this would be the best design for the Mopar community.
All other Sniper copies do not utilize their sniper hoods for cooling rater a looks first approach. The concern for water inside your engine bay is understood but remember the Original Dodge Viper had no Water deflection what so ever and your engine is perfectly fine getting wet! This hood is 100 percent designed for function NOT looks!
If the open air concept of this hood is good enough for the Viper it's good enough for us, the engineers spent millions in engineering this hood so who are we do redesign one of the greatest cooling hoods ever created. We also use a Stainless steel mesh not chicken wire in the vent area like others meaning it wont look bad after a few years.

Our Dodge Charger 2015-2022 Snipers hoods will look better the longer you own them and will pick up more of a shine every time it is polished because of the UV Gel coat we use. We do not use an automotive clear coat like most MFG's that yellows, Fades or cracks over time.
We have a 17 year industry track record that proves our quality with 1,000's of hood's sold no smoke and mirrors with false claims.
What does this all mean? If your Dodge Charger 2015-2022 hood gets scratched their is no need to re clear the whole hood Simply wet sand and re-buff for a completely new look.
Digs gouges, scratches from flying debris? These can be filled with a clear gelcoat and wet-sanded and buffed again. There is no need to re clear the entire part who else can offer this high quality.
High Gloss Clear UV GEL Coat protectant finish is on all of our Carbon Fiber. The Clear Gel Coat is then buffed to a high shine no Clear Paint! Paint doesn't Bond to carbon or fiberglass and will fail over time not a matter of if but when. The same Gel coat is used on our Fiberglass version except that coat is Black in color.
