Founded in 2001, Megan Racing has worked with more competitive sources and the newest factories, allowing it to stay at the helm of state-of-the-art production technology. This has helped the company deliver the best quality parts to its customers at affordable prices. Everything from lighter and stronger materials to the latest techniques in welding has provided Megan Racing a competitive edge over other manufacturers. The company sources its materials from both local as well as imported origins like the Japanese steel which is used in several of the company’s applications like steel exhaust products and lowering springs.
The 350Z is the next generation of the Fair-lady, the Z33, and is Nissan s current dominating force in motor-sports. With it s Naturally Aspirated 3.5L Quad-Cam V6 (VQ35DE) that boasts torque from Low-Mid Range to Red-line the 350Z is an extremely well-adapted force in competition. In it s stock configuration it is capable of so much but is still watered-down from it s full potential due to the conservative restraints of Consumer marketing and comfort.
The 350Z is a heavy-machine weighing over 3,200lbs and is plagued by body roll and a soft spring-rate for the comfort of the masses. For this reason Megan Racing has decided to develop numerous products to enhance the performance and bring out the full potential of the 350Z/G35 on both the street and track.
Alignment is crucial to the handling of your vehicle. Remembering that the only thing that touches the ground is your "Contact Patch" of your tires you have to make sure that your tires and wheels are doing exactly what you want. With this you must make sure you have the proper camber, caster and toe as well as make sure they are all working together and not against each other.
The 350Z/G35 is sensitive and "picky" when it comes to the way it responds to alignment characteristics. The way that the rear suspension is setup is pretty complicated when it comes down to adjustments being made. And all the soft bushings on the end of each arm that are designed for comfort can really give the car a sloppy feeling in the rear.
These Outer Tie-Rod Ends are compatible with both our Inner Tie-Rods and the OEM Tie Rods. They replace the OEM Tie Rod Ends with a high strength steel alloy Tie Rod End that can be used to fine tune Toe-Adjustments and by proper use of spacer combination can be set to proper suspension geometry to achieve the most steering angle possible which is crucial for drifting and other motor-sports.
Tie rods are used to adjust toe in the front, and obviously to steer your car. Aftermarket tie rod ends can be used to adjust bump-steer by spacing the tie rod end parallel with the FLCA.
