Founded in 2001, Megan Racing has worked with more competitive sources and the newest factories, allowing it to stay at the helm of state-of-the-art production technology. This has helped the company deliver the best quality parts to its customers at affordable prices. Everything from lighter and stronger materials to the latest techniques in welding has provided Megan Racing a competitive edge over other manufacturers. The company sources its materials from both local as well as imported origins like the Japanese steel which is used in several of the company’s applications like steel exhaust products and lowering springs.
Those who seek the most from their car know that in the rigors of competition you need to extract every ounce of performance from your machine. You need the capability to have every degree of adjustment above and beyond that of a street driven vehicle. You need the strength to withstands the stresses and strains of hard corners, a rough course and brutal weight transfer and chassis flex.
It is within this understanding that Megan Racing has unveiled our line of reinforced suspension arms that offer the strength and adjustment that any competition vehicle will ever need. Constructed of high-strength steel alloys that offer durability, strength and yet remain light-weight, these control arms have been track tested for months in road race, autocross and drift events to assure quality and performance.
These rear adjustable trailing arms offer rear caster adjustability when the vehicle ride height is lowered below OEM specifications. Suspension geometry as it was designed from the factory is often compromised when the static ride height of a vehicle is decreased in attempts to lower the center of gravity. As a result of these adjustments, the potential of running into alignment limitations increases and often times without aftermarket suspension arms, the camber and toe settings may not be able to be fully corrected. These rear adjustable trailing arms solve the tendency for the rear end of the Mitsubishi Eclipse 1995-1999 chassis to run into alignment limitations when the ride height is drastically lowered.
These trailing arms allow the adjustment of Caster in the rear wheels which can drastically effect the responsiveness of the car during hard cornering or drifting. The Pillow ball ends replace the OEM soft-rubber bushings which absorb too much energy that is then wasted... the result is a more direct feel with no energy lost in the suspension system.
